I remember a number of years ago I received a message from a lady in Townsville to do a Connection Session with her cat.

She sent me a photo and the name of her cat.

When I do Connection Sessions I always start with introducing my self and asking permission to connected with him/her, followed by questions from the guardian.

I start with the basics like, what their favourite food is, are they happy, have you any allergies etc. and proceed to ask the questions the guardian wanted to know.

This cat was very short and blunt like an old man would be, he was only 9 years old.

He also wasn’t very happy when I asked about his food.

So I went back to him with, “Well what food would you like to eat?”

I heard “chicken wings.” After that came a very low loud chuckle.

I asked what the issue was, why he had found that so funny.

He didn’t want to share any further information about this subject.

I sent the guardian all the info I received. I asked her if she knew why the cat reacted like he did with the chicken wings and chuckle.

Well guess what….

She chuckled, and chuckled. I was just lost for words. I said can you please share this with me as I think this is an inside joke and I missed it.

She replied with “He always ate chicken wings and the day before you did the Connections Session he had his teeth were all pulled out. He can no longer eat them.”

So the joke was on me.

All animals have feelings, personalities and free will. They will share their experiences or not, they will ask for help or not, just like we do.

So next time you talk to your animal think about how they feel.
